Geneva, 2012. A riff explodes in the dim light of a basement. Bass and drums welded together like hot
tarmac, a voice curling over it like acrid smoke: Cosmosonic is born from that collision, raw stoner
streaked with flashes of metal and grunge. The original line-up brings together Dada on vocals, Zuzu
and Barbara on guitars, Moussu on drums and Bourreau on bass.
In 2017, the band cut five tracks for an EP recorded at Ignition Prod, then mixed and mastered by Drop at
Downtone Studio in Geneva. Zero compromise, still streaming today.
On stage, Cosmosonic doesn’t just show up: the band has opened for Monster Magnet and Monkey3 on
the PTR stage at l’Usine in Geneva, for Mammoth Mammoth and My Sleeping Karma as part of Geneva’s
Fête de la Musique, and for Samavayo.
